Security We understand that document security is the main concern of any serious company. e-Spazio document repository and functionality are built on the LaserFiche Document Management System, with more than 20.000 installations worldwide. To guarantee your documents are secure we establish the following rules: User Login Security His/her User Id and a Password identify each user. The User is automatically logged out when he/she doesn’t use e-Spazio for a timeout period. Folder Access Permission Each user has three different permission levels or rights over each folder: No Access: for all purposes, the folder and the documents on it don’t exist for that user. Retrieve: The user can search and retrieve the documents. Add & Edit: The user can upload new documents and modify the index card fields. Web Server Ssecurity Transferring: All documents uploaded are transferred under a Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) transmission using a secure socket layer (SSL) that is 128-bit encrypted. This encryption makes it virtually impossible for anyone to intercept and use any data being transferred. Backup and Storage e-Spazio is hosted by GNOSIS Information Systems Inc. Storage is managed under a RAID 5 storage server located at GNOSIS data center. Backups are run on a daily basis at the data center. Once a week the back up is transferred to an outside physical location, under physical security conditions. The data center is guarded by security 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The data center is equipped with automated fire detection systems. All the images scanned and electronic documents uploaded are e-Spazio customer’s property. On a regular basis the customer will receive a CD/DVD containing the scanned images and the Index Card information.
